Invest AIFI
AIFI, following a path that has been traced for some time at EU and international level, wanted investors to become part of the association, creating a reserved membership category, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the sector, expanding access to and awareness of private capital and facilitating dialogue between GPs (managers) and LPs (investors).
The INVEST AIFI project was, in fact, promoted to improve and facilitate relations with institutional investors interested in the asset classes that the Association represents, with the aim of supporting them in making asset allocation choices in line with their natural investment horizon, in favour of greater diversification and support for the country’s real economy.
Regarding the initiatives that the Association promotes to facilitate this engagement, the main ones are:
- sharing specific requests to the institutions;
- developing guidelines and best practices on relevant topics, particularly in the area of sustainability and ESG policies;
- organising dedicated national and international events;
- taking part in in-depth seminars on the market and the specificities of individual asset classes;
- publishing Notebooks and Guides on technical topics of particular interest;
- training projects aimed at boards of directors and finance areas;
- involvement in AIFI General Council meetings;
- creation of an area of our website dedicated to specific questions requested by the institutional world.
With reference to this last point, please note that a dedicated section, Q&A Invest AIFI, has been set up in the Members’ Area of the site, where request for clarifications and information may be sent in the strictest confidentiality. Questions already prepared by the Association may also be viewed, with the corresponding answers.
